Covid Policy Students
Please note Magma takes our state and medical policies quite seriously. Students will enter with mask from the parking area to common area. Parents are asked not to stay but parents of younger children may stay with a mask on at all times and remain in the seated area. Students must undergo a temperature check and quick query from our staff. They must wash hands or sanitize before entering. On the floor and equipment students have the option for mask. They must maintain social distancing and not touch each other. Coaches will monitor and coach while wearing masks. Extra staff is on hand to help children, clean area, and check on them at all time.
Health Policy Coaches
All Magma instructors are checked and queried before entering the facility before students arrive. They must be 14 days or more free of any illness before allowed to Coach. They must wash and prepare the area with additional cleaning of themselves as well as the area used. Staff will wear masks when coaching and spotting, if you do not want any spotting at all please let the staff know. If a staff needs to fix or temporarily remove masks they will move away and face away from child. They will assist students with cleansing procedures and we will take more frequent breaks to clean after events, this also gives coaches time to clean as well. After practice is over, coaches will remain and clean the areas used. The following morning a second cleaning is done as well. We are currently at reduced capacity and have allowed students to attend multiple classes which reduces the amount of exposure to other students.
